Stress is a physical, mental, or emotional response to events that causes bodily or mental tension. Stress is any outside force or event that has an effect on our body or mind. Stress is one of the top health hazards we face today. Unfortunately, it’s impossible to go through life without the irritations that make us tense.
Stress can come from any situation or thought that makes you feel frustrated, angry, nervous, or anxious. Stress is caused by an existing stress-causing factor or “stressor.”

Some people deal with the situation better than others. Here are some tips for the self management in easing stress and increasing relaxation:

- Surround yourself with supportive people
- Learn to enjoy the small things
- Exercise regularly such as stretching, aerobics etc
